Hook size: 2.5 mm

With red yarn ( make 2)

Chain 3 insert hook into 3rd chain from the hook work 3 treble crochets attaching each to the beginning space then work 3 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet, 3 treble crochets attaching each to the beginning space. Leave a long tail for sewing.

With yellow yarn Hook Size: 5.75 mm

Foundation Row: Make a magic circle

Row 1: single crochet x6 around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 2: single crochet x2 in each space around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 3: single crochet x2 into the first space and once into the next space around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 4: single crochet x2 into the first space and once into the next 2 spaces around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 5: single crochet x2 into the first space and once into the next 3 spaces around row and join with a slip stitch

Attach yarn to the bottom of the circle and chain 50 attach to the beginning space. Sew on the smile with black yarn. Sew clasp to the back of the heart.

Weave in all ends of the project in at least three different directions to ensure that the ends of the project don't come loose through use.
