Crochet hook: 2.75 mm

Weight: 4

Head: (make 2)

Foundation Row: Chain 2

Row 1: single crochet into the second chain from hook 8 times and join with a slip stitch

Row 2: single crochet x2 in each space around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 3: single crochet x1 into the first space and single crochet x2 into the second space around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 4: single crochet x1 into the first two spaces and single crochet x2 into the second space around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 5: single crochet x1 into the first three spaces and single crochet x2 into the next space repeat around row and join with a slip stitch

When both sides are done single crochet around both pieces
Attaching them together

For ears:

Attach yarn to desired ear position and work 1 double crochet attach to side of head then work 9 double crochet into the same space attach to other side of head.

Repeat for other ear.

For eyes: (make 2)

Chain 2

Into the second chain from hook work 4 single crochet and join with a slip stitch. Leave a long tail for sewing onto the head. Example shown has eyes off centre and one higher than the other. Please attach in any position desired.
Sew a white dot in the centre of each.

For nose:

Chain 2

Into the second chain from hook work 10 single crochet and join with a slip stitch

In back loops only single crochet around row and join with a slip stitch. Leave a long tail and attach to the centre of face. Use yarn to stuff nose a bit.

For shoulders:

Attach yarn to bottom of bear head and work 4 rows of single crochet around row and join with a slip stitch.

Weave in all ends in at least three different directions to ensure that the ends of the project don't come loose through use
