Row 1: Double crochet around both sides of the foundation row with 3 double crochet in each corner and join with a slip stitch

Row 2 - 10: Double crochet around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 11:chain 4( counts as first double crochet and chain 1) double crochet into the same space skip the next space* double crochet chain 1 all into the next space* repeat around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 12: chain 3 skip first double crochet * yarn over and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops on the hook 3 times all in the same space, yarn over and draw through all 4 loops on hook( 1 cluster or tulip)chain 2* repeat from * to* across row and join with a slip stitch

Row 13 - 20: Double crochet around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 21: single crochet around row and join with a slip stitch

Weave in all ends in at least three different directions to ensure that the ends of the project don't come loose through use
