Barbie's Ugly Christmas Sweater

Hook size: 3.75 mm

Weight: 4

Foundation Row: chain 16

Row 1-7: single crochet around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 8: single crochet x4, chain 1, skip 1, single crochet x8, chain 1, skip 1, single crochet x4

Row 9: single crochet around row using chain 1 as a single crochet and join with a slip stitch

Armhole:

Row 1: single crochet x8 around opening

Row 2-14: single crochet around row and join with a slip stitch

Repeat for other armhole

Single crochet around top of sweater if desired.

For applique:

Foundation Row: chain 2

Row 3: into the second chain from hook double crochet x16

Row 4: with a different color yarn double crochet x3

Sew on the sweater.

Weave in all ends in at least three different directions to ensure that the ends of the project don't come loose through use
