Foundation Row: chain 2
Row 1: double crochet x12 around row and join with a slip stitch
Row 2: single crochet x24 around row and join with a slip stitch
Row 3: single crochet x24 around row and join with a slip stitch
Row 4: double crochet x48 around row and join with a slip stitch
Weave in all ends in at least three different directions to ensure that the ends of the project don't come loose through use
