3 different mesh stitches

Double Mesh Stitch

Double Mesh Stitch

This trio of stitches is created by skipping stitches in a square pattern, creating a more open fabric.

This trio of stitches are quick and fun to create as well as useful to create summer projects where an airier fabric is desired.

There are many ways to use this trio as a base for other stitches to be worked on the surface of the mesh or around the posts or by adding appliques to the surface of the fabric created. These stitches can also be used for a base for weaving ribbon or yarns through.

Keeping your stitch count accurate is very important with this trio. Use a hook size recommended for the type of yarn used.
Hook size used for all samples: 4.5 mm
Weight used for all samples: 4
