Row 1: into the second chain from hook work 12 double crochet and join with a slip stitch

Row 2: double crochet x 2 in each space around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 3: double crochet into the next 2 spaces then put two double crochet in the next space repeat around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 4: double crochet into the next 3 spaces then put two double crochet in the next space repeat around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 5: double crochet into the next 4 spaces then put two double crochet in the next space repeat around row and join with a slip stitch

Row 6: double crochet into the next 5 spaces then put two double crochet in the next space repeat around row and join with a slip stitch
